Ethical guidelines and code of conduct for all parties involved in the publication process of Explore.

Publication Ethics Statement

This scientific publication ethics statement outlines the ethical code for all parties involved in the publication process of this journal, including managers, editors, reviewers, and authors. The Code of Ethics upholds three fundamental ethical values in publication:

  • Neutrality: Freedom from conflicts of interest in publication management.
  • Justice: Granting authorship rights to those entitled to be authors.
  • Honesty: Freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
Duties and Responsibilities of Journal Managers
Determine the journal's name, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if necessary.
Determine the membership of the editorial board.
Define the relationship between publishers, editors, reviewers, and other parties in a contract.
Respect confidential matters for contributing researchers, authors, editors, and reviewers.
Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyrights.
Review journal policies and submit them to authors, the board of editors, reviewers, and readers.
Create code of conduct guides for editors and reviewers.
Publish journals regularly.
Guarantee the availability of funding sources for the continuation of journal publication.
Build a network of cooperation and marketing, and prepare permits/legal aspects.
Editor Duties and Responsibilities
Meet the needs of readers and authors, and endeavor to improve publication quality sustainably.
Implement a process to ensure the quality of published papers and maintain the integrity of authors' academic track records.
Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively and remain open to new opinions or conflicting views.
Deliver corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary.
Responsible for style and format, while contents and statements remain the author's responsibility.
Support initiatives to reduce errors by asking authors to attach approved Ethical Clearance forms.
Encourage authors to improve written works to be worthy of publication without defending personal opinions that compromise objectivity.
Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers
Receive assignments to review written works and submit results as material for feasibility determination.
Refrain from reviewing works that involve direct or indirect conflicts of interest.
Maintain author privacy and keep review corrections, suggestions, and recommendations confidential.
Encourage and guide authors to make necessary improvements based on scientific principles.
Re-examine corrected works promptly according to predetermined standards.
Duties and Responsibilities of Authors
Ensure all listed authors meet the criteria and take collective responsibility for the article's work, contents, methods, and analysis.
State the origin of resources (including funding) and explain research limitations.
Respond to reviewer comments in a professional and timely manner.
Inform the editor promptly if withdrawing a written work.
Provide a statement that the submitted paper is original, never published elsewhere in any language, and not currently under consideration by another publisher.
